Court & Child Representation
Limited Court availability on a case by case basis, includes child clients.
Service Description
We may be able to provide limited legal representation for: Urgent court hearings Conferences Legally assisted mediations dispute resolution Best suited to clients who have previously worked with us and would like us to advocate for them or attend on the day, subject to availability and agreement. Our Principal can also offer advice and representation for children facing criminal charges on request. Our Principal is also qualified to act as the Independent Childrens Lawyer ("ICL") in the Family Court of Western Australia and a Child Representative for care and protection matters in the Children's Court of Western Australia. These are specialty services provided as and when nominated by the Courts and is subject to Legal Aid of Western Australia funding grants. It is not a private service.
Cancellation Policy
Appointments are subject to final approval by the Principal and should not be taken as confirmed until you have received an email or text to this effect. The practice may call you for more details to proceed with an appointment. All Appointments are subject to screening processes for client conflicts, suitability of service and any other relevant factors. Please note, rarely appointments may be subject to change by the practice due to urgency of Court Matters, should this occur you will be given no less than twenty-four hours notice, where possible.
